In 1994-1995, Tim and his musical partner Ian Roland were invited to write and produce music for former Playschool presenter Floella Benjamin's "Hullabaloo" children's show. This was followed, between 1998-2000, with a similar commission for a second Benjamin show, "Jamboree."

Around the same time, Tim also partnered with lyricist Eden Phillips to compose some 50 children's songs for the audio/magazine series "The Guzunder Gang." Again, Roland was involved in the recording. Other projects for the pair included a double CD of original children’s songs, traditional nursery rhymes and underscore for JWMedia Music; and "Spider," an album of original children’s songs for BMG records and Hibbert Ralph animation.

As a result, Tim and Roland were invited, during 2001, to create a fresh repertoire of children's music for a company specialising in "action music" for babies and pre-schoolers. Recorded at Tim's home studio in Robertsbridge, West Sussex, the 19 songs on this album were the result.
